Magical Mermaid Cake

Giving my little sunshine mermaid kisses and starfish wishes with a mermaid gift that tastes as good as it looks! This enchanting cake features a true under the sea adventure complete with shimmering starfish, sea horse, sea turtles, lobsters and mermaid cookies, sure to make a splash at the “shellebration”.

“Less is more”. I only needed a small cake so I kept the details to a minimum and only used a couple of colors and edible toppers but overall– the effect was a precious little cake. 

Mermaid theme cake and shell cookies with a number 4 are eggless and nuts free.

Disney Tsum Tsum Mini Cupcakes

My Little Mister is no longer little. He is officially a 6 years old today effectively this morning. I had tears in my eyes while dropping him off to school but I am sure he will have a great day celebrating with his classmates and teachers.

Chinese New Year 2019

Hi Cake Sweeties,

🐷Happy Chinese/Lunar New Year🐷

It’s been a crazily busy week with my little ones’ birthdays one after another. In between, we have Chinese New Year to celebrate. I think they are old enough to know about our family roots and cultural (Such a blessing we live in the multi-cultural country and my little ones can learn and know about it at school and childcare). 

I prepared some homemade Chinese New Year cookies and macarons for my little ones. This is my first time making Chinese New Year treats since I started my little baking adventure. I have a few things I want to try and make but because its so close to my little girl’s birthday, I decided to keep it simple and stick with these set to honour "the year of the pig".

I supposed to serve the cookie with Chinese character “blessing” upside down since the character for “upside down” in Chinese sounds the same as the character for “arrival”. An upside down blessing implies blessing has arrived! Cool huh! At the moment, I want to introduce my children with proper Chinese character first.

Baby One Month Old Package

A baby girl is a month old. It's time to officially announce her arrival to the rest of the world. I am very honoured to be part of this special moment. Family and friends will adore these cupcake and cookie combo, packing of three cupcakes and three cookies with baby-themed fondant toppers.
