Hi Everyone,

Lately, I am practicing to make different shapes of macaroon’s shells. Today, I want to create the heart shaped ones. The perfect flavor I say would be “Raspberry”.

Hence, I used some fresh raspberries (yes, no artificial flavouring or only tinted with pink edible colour)  to the shell batter for sweetness and color. It’s delightful in the eyes by pairing with the most famous Nutella chocolate filling.

The result? A burst of raspberry flavored pink shell, need I say more! Absolutely yummy.

Hey, as we head toward springtime, this is certainly a great treat for a brunch, afternoon tea with your family and friends.

I can not wait to share more creations with you.

Teddy Bear Chocolate Macaroons

Hi

Yummo

Gift Box

Hi Everyone

Love these cute teddy bear macaroons; my son and hubby certainly didn’t have hesitation to put them one by one in their mouths. The macaroons have a crispy outer shell and chewy inner shell. Although, I will be using the royal icing to decorate in order to perfect the overall look, my first experience went well.

They will be more styles coming soon. I can’t wait to share them with you.

Note: Our pink macaroon box can hold five or six macaroons. Orders over 24 boxes can choose up to three flavours per box. Currently, we have chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut, pistachio with ganache, Nutella, salted caramel ganache fillings.

Thank you for stopping by.

Ellie's First Official Party

Edible Gum Ball Necklace

Blueberry Jelly

Raspberry White Chocolate Mousse Cup

Tiramisu Champagne Cup

Vanilla Macarons

Mini Salted Caramel Chocolate Pies

Vanilla Seed Cupcake

Merry Berry Cup

Pumpkin Spice Cutout Cookies

Hello Everyone

I had prepared all these desserts for Miss Ellie's first party over the weekend. The party was a ceremony that to help her reduce or stop drooling excessively at four month old in our culture. Amazingly, she did reduce drooling all over her bibs today. Well, as I said before, I love to celebrate traditions with less traditional approaches.

To reflect the theme which was "Purple, White Polka Dots", you can see more details in "巧比工作室" and "巧比生活坊". They were some lovely desserts that I made for our beloved guests whom we really appreciated to join and help us. Apparently, you can stop the drooling quicker if more people help.

Dessert highlight to look out for:

- Vanilla seed cupcakes topped with white chocolate ganache (very moist tangy taste)
- Pumpkin spice cutout cookies: it snaps off easily and melts in your mouth quickly.
- Blueberry jelly: double color tone came from adding the cream to the jelly mixture and the taste of deliciousness is double.
- Tiramisu: I am surprisingly in love with this version of Tiramisu. It's very light, creamy and a hint of lovely expresso just can not stop the that lovely taste in your mouth.
- White chocolate mousse: I love this beautiful dessert in the eyes and it's definitely not an overly sweet one.
- Mini salted caramel chocolate pies: this is the second winner that the crisp shortbread topped with this beautiful decadent chocolate.
- Macarons: everyone loves it and it is the party winner AGAIN.
- Merry berry cups: this is kid's favourite with fresh seasonal fruits.

What a party with all these treats that made with a mother's love. I love you, Miss Ellie!

Thank you for stopping by. We see you next time.

Miss Sunshine Cake

You are my sunshine

The Sunny Topper

The Smash Cake
Hi Everyone

Last week, I had an opportunity to create this super sunny birthday cake with a matching smash cake to go with the celebration. I had a good time making it as you hardly have a song for a cake. It also kept my Mr 3 and Miss 0 entertained while I sang and made cakes.

The cake was a 6 inch checkerboard cake with our new vanilla and chocolate sponge cakes filled and covered with milk chocolate ganache. It was covered in lemony yellow fondant and decorated in fondant as well.

The sunshine on top was using the styrofoam ball so the parents can keep it as a keepsake after the party. The smash cake was vanilla and chocolate swirl cake. The smash cake was perfect for a one year old to smash which was roughly around 6 inches in diameter.

Thank you for stopping by.
Hope to create more cakes and treats for you in the near future.

Happy baking

Little Gentleman & Royal Crown Baby Shower Dessert Table

Hi Everyone

I am back to work after giving birth to my second baby in February and a month in confinement. Back in January, as my little valentine was turning 2 and our second baby would be joining our family, we had the combo of the little gent and royal crown themes working together. The result was fabulous.

They were four elements - bow tie, moustache, pink and gold crown. Overall, I am so happy with the way everything turned out. I also love that 'pink' can be incorporated into a little boys party without making it feel overwhelmingly girly.

Desserts highlights to look out for:
- gold fondant crown on the chocolate covered strawberry cream Oreos (I forgot to put the crown on at the end)
- royal crown brown sugar cookies
- moustache dark chocolate sugar cookies
- moustache dark chocolate lollipops
- moustache chocolate covered vanilla cream Oreos
- bow tie birthday cake (marble butter cake)
- white, gold, pink gum balls
- black rock sticks

It was such a fun day. Now, I can plan and have more parties like this after the arrival of my second baby Ellie. That means more cakes, treats and desserts to share. What a piece of sweet life to have.

We are back to take small orders. Please feel free to contact via email or FB. Thank you for stopping by.
