Egg Macaroons

Hi Everyone

Happy Easter Sunday! I hope you have had a wonderful long weekend. Over the years, Paul would be at work on Saturday and Monday. During this time we cannot go on a family holiday as most people do.

After having Jeremy, I always want to take him on the Easter Egg Hunt but haven't done so over the years because he was too small to hunt and then I was pregnant with Ellie etc. To cut the long story short, I finally pulled through this activity for him on Easter Friday this year. He was extremely excited and happy. I was surprised how quick he went on his adventure without any training or indication. I guess all kids were born as great Easter Egg Hunters ^^"

I did not want Jeremy to have chocolate overload. I only bought a small bag of Kinder chocolate eggs and one standard Kinder chocolate egg from the shop. Then, I made a dozen of Hazelnut Egg Macaroons and put them in the plastic Easter themed containers for him to hunt at home.

We all love Easter. It's a time for eating all the chocolate you can find with complete impunity. I am certainly going to make it our family must do list. It's such a blessing to see my children's happy faces.

Happy Easter!
Love,
Beth xo
